The Santa Hot-line
By Jennifer Beason
Hi everyone I'm so excited to be sharing my first Collage Press project with you all today. The theme I chose to work with this month was "This Christmas will be different". As a mom of three, I find "black-mail" works pretty well, this time of year! :) I'm constantly telling my 5 and 3 year old, if they don't behave themselves, I'm going to have to call Santa. Well, now I have my very own "Santa Hot-line." ....... I think this Christmas will be different!
I really love the whimsical feel of the Joyride collection and I wanted to do a project that complimented that somewhat. I basically just covered all the surfaces of the clock with patterned paper, using matte Mod Podge adhesive.
I cut out some zig-zag strips and applied them around the face and receiver of the phone / clock.
I used the Joyride Chipboard to embellish the face of the clock....
and used more chipboard to embellish the receiver.
Sweet Letter Stickers, Joyride Phase Stickers ("Hi") and Joyride Chipboard was then used to create the title along with some mini letter stickers.
Collage Press Supplies:
Joyride Cheery & Bright
Joyride Little Flurries
Joyride Wonderland
12x12 Die-Cut Zig Zag-"Together"
12x12 Die-Cut Zig Zag-"Good Times"
Joyride Crafting Strips
Joyride Chipboard
Joyride Shape Stickers Phrase Stickers
Sweet Alphabet Stickers
Other supplies:
Telephone clock and ribbon - Hobby Lobby
Ric-rack - Maya Road
Small letter stickers and paint - Making Memories
Superfabulous! I love every little bit of this amazing project!
