Christmas Planning! Kristin Faust
I was inspired to create this mini book after seeing Jo W's version, our die cut challenge winner. This year is going to be different and I can already say that I am impressed with my progress! The fact that I even have my lists already made in November is a HUGE improvement for me!
To create this I used the Joyride journaling cards and backed each card with the Peppermint Twist lined paper. The lined paper houses my to do lists, items to purchase and names of those who I need to purchase gifts for.
I wanted to keep this simple since I plan on putting this in my purse and I don't want pieces to fall off. I rounded the bottom corners and added a few embellishments and called it a day!
Supplies: Pattern Paper, Letter Stickers, Chipboard and Journaling Cards: Collage Press Joyride. Other: Prima Bling.
I decided to make this after my son asked for the 396th time "how much longer till Christmas?"
To create this I purchased 2x2 blocks that I sanded and painted. I used a square punch for my pattern paper and then adhered the paper with Mod Podge. When it was dry I sanded the edges. I used Maya Road chipboard and Maya Mists in silver to add numbers to my blocks.
To create the number blocks you need to put on block number one: 0,1,2,3,4,5.
And on block number two: 0,1,2,6,7,8.
If I did this project again I would probably use stickers or die cuts so that my blocks would lay flatter. I got smart when I added th chipboard snowflake and only added them on two sides.
I applied a thin layer of Mod Podge over the blocks with the stickers to seal them and I added the thin layer of Mod Podge to seal the blocks with chipboard before adhering the chipboard.
Supplies: Pattern Paper, Chipboard, Letter Stickers and Sticker: Collage Press. Other: Prima Bling, 2x2 blocks, Red Paint and Mod Podge.
I purchased all of the new line but after recieving it I would LOVE to win some more!
